Hanson Peters Nye was established in Chicago in 1994 by founding partners Keith Hanson, Victor Peters, and Anastasia Markakis Nye. Hanson Peters Nye’s origins date back to the 1970s when the firm’s founding partners first devoted their practices to the representation of insurers as coverage and litigation counsel. Since that time they have protected the rights of insurers in a broad array of insurance disputes, particularly in the rapidly expanding areas of professional and general liability. The firm’s partners have been instrumental in creating innovative insurance products and protocols that have played a major role in the development of professional liability and general liability coverages.
